Rich Brooks and family celebrate winning the
Kanawha County Majorette and Band Grand
 Championship Sept. 23rd.
 
 
 
This is Mr. Brooks 5th year as the Band Director at Nitro High School
and the past four have been spectacular. Mr. Brooks came to Nitro
High in 2003 from Cabell Midland. Mr. Brooks Directed the Nitro
Wildcat Marching Band to a victory at the Kanawha County Majorette
and Band Festival with the show New York, New York. Then a
several more with the shows like  The Pat Matheny Suite ,Firebird and
Music of Hope  This year's show will be Ellis Island

  We are proud to have such a kind gentleman directing our children, he is a great role model, family man and friend. Thank You ! Mr. Brooks for every thing.
