My name is
Michael Adams. I am seventeen years old and a senior at Nitro. I live
in Cross Lanes with my parents, Bill and Debbie, my dog, Darby, and my
four parakeets. I have one brother, Jared, who just graduated from West
Virginia Wesleyan this past May and will be attending WVU College of Law
starting in August. At Nitro, I participate in Spanish Club, FCA, Key
Club, and am a member of National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.
Also, I attended Mountaineer Boys State this past June and I
am a member of Cross Lanes
Baptist Church. After I
graduate this upcoming May, I plan to attend WVU, majoring in Chemistry. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and
my girlfriend, watching movies, bowling, listening to music, and playing
golf.
This will be my fourth and final year in marching band at Nitro. I have
been very fortunate to meet and know an amazing group of people that I
will never forget. I have gained a vast knowledge of music through
marching band and also leadership skills that will help me through
life. Also, I have learned to appreciate and accept all genres of
music. For the first two years of marching band I played alto
saxophone, but last year I played mellophone. I am pleased and honored
to be Field Commander and looking forward to this year. |
